Q. What is the validity of the plans?
A. The plans are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase.
Q. Can I have two or more plans active on the same number at the same time?
A. Yes. You can purchase two or more plans for a single number at the same time, however each package has its own validity.
Q. What are On-net minutes?
A. On-net minutes are defined as minutes to Zamtel lines i.e. mobile and landline.
Q. What are Off-net minutes?
A. Off-net minutes are defined as minutes to be used to call other networks within Zambia (Airtel or MTN).
Q. What are international minutes?
A. International minutes are defined as minutes that can be used to call destinations outside Zambia as pre-defined in the offer.
Q. Will I be able to carry over unused minutes/benefits to the following month post expiration of validity?
A. Unused minutes/benefits will not be carried over to the next month when the validity date has been reached.
Q. If I activate a K20 or K50 plan will I be able to make calls free on the weekend and have minutes to international destinations?
A. No. The K20 and K50 plans do not have international minutes or free weekend calling.
Q. If I activate a K100 or K200 plan, will I have Free Weekend Calling?
A. No. The K100 and K200 plans have all other benefits except for free weekend calling.
Q. What benefits can I get on the K500 - K3000 plans?
A. These plans give you On-net, Off-net and International minutes with free night and weekend calling.
Q. Upon expiry or depletion of my minutes/benefits will all local and international calls be billed according to the standard Landline rates.

A. Free Night calling is effective from 22:00hrs - 05:59hrs for only Zamtel to Zamtel calls.

A. Free weekend calling is effective from Friday 22:00hrs - Monday 05:59hrs for only Zamtel to Zamtel calls.
Q. Can I make free off-net calls over the weekend?
A. No. Free weekend calling is only for Zamtel to Zamtel Calls.
Q. Will my off-net calls be free during free night calling?
A. No. Free calling is only for Zamtel to Zamtel Calls.
Q. What happens if I make a call outside the free calling window and I have no on-net, off-net or international minutes?
A. All calls made outside the free calling window (i.e. Free Night & Weekend Calling) will be billed according to the standard Landline rates if the customer has no On-net, Off-net or international minutes.

Terms & Conditions
1. The Landline Plans are only applicable to prepaid landline customers.
2. All Landline Plans have a validity period of 30 days from the date of activation.
3. All Plans are effective from the time the plan is activated until its validity period is reached.
4. A customer can purchase two or more packages for their landline at any given time.
5. On-net minutes are herein defined as minutes to Zamtel lines i.e. mobile and landline.
6. Off-net minutes are herein defined as minutes to be used to call other networks within Zambia.
7. International minutes are herein defined as minutes that should be used to call destinations outside Zambia as pre-defined/specified.
8. Unused minutes/benefits will not be carried over to the next month post expiration of validity.
9. Customers who purchase the K20 and K50 Plans are not eligible for international minutes and free weekend calling.
10. Customers who purchase the K100 and K200 Plans are eligible for all other benefits except Free Weekend Calling.
11. Customers who purchase the plans from K500 to K3000 have On-net, Off-net and International minutes with free night and weekend calling.
12. Upon expiry or depletion of the minutes/benefits all local and international calls will be billed according to the standard Landline rates. Below table highlights the landline rates while International call rates will apply as per specific destination, details which are available on the Zamtel website at www.zamtel.zm

17. Zamtel reserves the right to establish its policies, rules and limitations, from time to time, as regards the use of the service. The subscriber must comply with any data storage, bandwidth and other limitations Zamtel may impose, at its sole discretion.
