The customer has autonomy in relation to frequency of sending SMS’s as long as they have valid SMS allocations.
The customer can send off-net blasts.
The customer can send large volumes at once.
The application is accessible online anywhere internet is.
Bundles are prepaid and have validity of 30 days from day of purchase. The customer can purchase new stock from any Zamtel shop country wide.
In case the client has an application or SMS gateway, Zamtel can provide an API with them so that their SMS gateway can send through Zamtel’s application but still use the same bundle structure as given here.

How it works
Customer walks into any Zamtel shop country wide or approached by an account manager. The following is collected from the client; Company name, Preferred sender ID, names of three users from their company who will have access to the application and how much allocation of SMS is needed. Payment is made for the required bundle.
The staff in question compiles all this information and sends the request for creation of accounts to the Billing Administrator (Back Office) at close of each business day.
Zamtel admin logs in as shown in the screen shot below to create companies, users and assign initial stock.
How to sign up
Customer writes a formal application letter, attaches photocopy of Certificate of Registration or Incorporation and all the required documentations as per “KYC standards”.
Retail/KAM sends application to Business Solutions for business analysis before sending for Site Surveys to confirm feasibility of service.
If the service is feasible, a Contract is sent to the customer with the relevant /applied charges.
Customer signs Contract / Service Agreement and pays the charges.
